You can search through this website by using three different lists plus an additional directory of persons killed or missed in action.

Families

There you'll find a list of individual families. If you just want to view all available data in order of relations this is the recommended lists.

The data of the individual families are available as descendant list, covering all descendants and their relatives. You'll find there single persons which could not yet been allocated to one of the families, too. If you have further information please send me a message through one of means, available on the Contact-page.

The data on this website represent the current status of research. Very likely there are links between individual families / persons, which haven't been proven yet.

Persons

The list of persons list all individuals, mentioned on this website. Use this list to search for a certain person.

Locations

If you're not looking for an individual, but for events at certain locations, this is the preferred option to search for.

This list contains all locations, mentioned on this website. Individual persons may be listed more than once, if birth, death etc. happened in different locations. Persons, where no places are known (place of birth etc.) are not listed.

Names of Locations, Counties, Regions etc. refer to the year of 1900. Often several changes in political structure happened. Where other names for Counties or Regions are known, they are listed in brackets.

Killed / Missed In Action

In that section all persons, with the name Prieske, or a variant of it, killed or missed in action during WWI or WWII are listed. Those persons can be found in a separate list, because the do - for the time being - not relate to one of the other families or individuals.

Address Books / Directories

This section lists persons with the name Prieske or Priske, found in different directories. The list was compiled by Michael Garske. It does not list the sources, because there were too many. If you have questions to individual entries, please contact me through one of means, available on the Contact-page.
